MUSKRATFALLS.COM

I hear them talking about more transparency and openness and engaging the public more on the Muskrat Falls Project. One could say they are talking the talk but will they walk the walk?
MUSKRATFALLS.COM is available and a great place for a new beginning!

SO QUEBEC IS SAYING THAT IT HAS LOTS OF POWER FOR SALE

Last Edited: July 7, 2014

That is until 2041. Then what happens? Can Quebec hold a 30+ year power deal? By then we will have Churchill Falls back in our control. Muskrat Falls and Gull Island will be up and running and unless some ID 10 T negotiates a new deal and gives it all back to Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador will have it all. I can’t help but think that someone out there might make the Muskrat Falls Project to Newfoundland and Labrador what the Avro Arrow project was to Canada. We shall see.

STAY OFF THE CELL PHONE AND NO TEXTING WHILE YOU DRIVE. THE LIFE YOU SAVE MIGHT BE MINE.

Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and anyone else, please do NOT use your cell or text or update facebook while you drive. Apart from being illegal its a very stupid thing to be at. The life you save might be mine.

OVER 7 BILLION DOLLARS

Last Edited: June 6, 2014

That’s about a BILLION a year over the guess-estimate so far. Would anybody care to guess what the final price tag will be? You are welcome to post your guess here. At least it will be here for all to see all the time. Not like a news story that gets pushed back out of the way in 24 hours and they hope you forget about it..
At a billion a year increase I guess we will come in around the 12 BILLION when all is said and done. A little bit of a cost over run, I would say. BTW, 230,000 visits to muskratfalls.com.

Even the Wall Street Journal has made reference to the Muskrat Falls Project

Last Edited: May 5, 2014

A recent news story announced that Governments and Corporations are failing when it comes to the use of a social media site to get their message out there.
muskratfalls.com is in a class of it’s own just waiting to be developed to be applied as you need it. There are thousands of visits here each week by people waiting to find out something. What would you like to tell them? You want to reach out to the world, locally or maybe help you stay in power or win an election. Do you want to have a site that can give people, as in tax payers, a place to ask a question and get an answer? This site can give you the advantage you need.
But I’m sure that there are lot of experts who already know that.
Can you afford to buy this web site or can you afford not to buy this web site?
One things is for sure that there’s going to be as big winner soon and there will also be some sorry losers saying could have, should have, but why didn’t I?
The causalities are already stacking up.

Muskrat Falls–Mastering the Art of Communication Failure

muskratfalls.com

Last Edited: April 4, 2014

A few days ago I read an article on how the author of the article figured that muskratfalls would cost about 10 and a half billion dollars, much more than what’s been budgeted. Well, he may be right and that really got the MOB MENTALITY juices flowing. I expected to see the sickles and axes and hoes out heading for The Confederation Building and Nalcor’s Offices.
I on the other hand think that no matter what the Muskrat Falls Project costs now is the time to do it. 20, 30 years from now Muskrat Falls Project will be needed anyway and how much will it cost then to build.
I sent a comment to the paper supporting this project and to no surprise, my comment was not printed, only negative ones were.
That’s the beauty of having my own website.

10.66 BILLION THE UNOFFICIAL (GUESSESTIMATE) NO MATTER THE COST MUSKRATFALLS IS STILL A GOOD DEAL

Last Edited: April 4, 2014

10.66 Billion is an unofficially guessestimate calculated amount, then I think it’s still a good deal. What would it cost 20,30,40 years from now to build this project. Especially once all the wood and oil is depleted and we will not want it but need it? A wiser person will look into the future for our children’s needs and I’m pretty sure my children will not have a wood stove or an oil furnace because I don’t have such things now. I also do not look forward to having forests and country sides covered up with thousands of Wind Turbines that will cover hundreds of square miles and still cost billions.

PC and Liberal Parties of Newfoundland and Labrador, are you listening?

The acting leader of the Nova Scotia New Democrats, Maureen MacDonald, blamed a failure to communicate on not using Social Media clearly enough as a way to stay in contact and to get clear messages out and to listen to their supporters and voters.

MUSKRATFALLS.COM and MUSKRATFALLS.CA are pretty clear ways to communicate with over 220,000 visitors having found their way already.
